Fed up

Doh!

Oh man, I work my ass off day in and day out on this bloody report and no matter what I do it seems like no damn end. And the end of this month another meeting comes in Helsinki, probably the last academic one in my school time. Meeting means presentation which brings preparation. -_ -!

You know what, I was contemplating that I have to say God really put some kind of crucifixion on me this year. From the beginning of this year up to now, I was suffering from heaps of different kind pains, agonies, mainly physical and a bit mental. I know 'What does not kill you makes you strong', but this is just too damn much.

Hope the second half part of the year would become much smoother.
Please.

Operation on Thursday 17/06/2010 - Day 20

In Chinese, the old sayings is "You can escape for the 1st of the month, but you cannot escape for the 15th." which means the consequence arrives sooner or later.

So the thing is: I will go to hospital this afternoon and stay there over night and the operation is on tomorrow. Never been an operation before, I am quite, you know, scared.

Day 2 - Day 11

The meeting in Tampa was passed smoothly. I think almost everyone would remember that a guy walked around with the crutches. We hired a car and drove to the beach of Clearwater and St.Petersburg. The white beach looks very beautiful, but it is crowded with people when we are there; quite a lot fat people and the sad point is that we did not see any naked girls. Hehe, probably it is not the right region.
Got back to France yesterday and will go to Lyon for the next three weeks.

Day 1

Pretty smooth day.

After I checked in the airport, a officer showed up with a wheelchair and he took me all the way to the departure gate. Therefore, I did not wait in the queue for the security check. Everything is just straight away, well, this is one perfect thing to be disabled. After that, he settled me in a special assistant gate which is a gate mainly designed for disable people. Once it is ready to get aboard, a elevater van (if you know what I mean) came, picked up me and put me direct on board.

However, when I arrived in France CDG, the truck which supposed to pick me up never showed, so as the wheelchair. An officer appologized for the delay and he said everything was in the system, how comes no one shown up with the wheelchair. Well, the typical French management. -_ -!

Anyway, I am grateful that he finally led me to collect my luggage and droped me in the airport helping desk. I have to say it is nearly impossible that I carry the luggage myself with the crutches on. Finally, the lady in the helping desk helped me to find someone can get me to Terminal 3 where the hotel that I will live in today is.

Right, I need to get something to eat now.
