Trip to Avignon

Went to Avignon with Xiaojun last Saturday. It is a bit weird that two guys traveling for a trip, but he insisted and waked me up in the early morning...-_ -! The weather was quite nice except the sun was a bit strong. (which can be seen below)

Basketball weekend starts

Friday afternoon after work, inside of going home I went to Aix for the weekend and stayed in Xiaojun's place. Gotta do some execises, I am getting fat recently. Martin went to Kati's place, therefore the cat need to be fed by the naughbour. We arrived 17:00pm, and immediately went to the playground. The bloody long hair annoyed me a lot, but my skill was not affected...XD Right, I am telling the truth - have not been playing basketball for half a year - my dribble was like so awkward and shooting was so damn horrible as well. But the point is that we played some good games and I got a chance to practise.

My body is gonna hurt tomorrow, I reckon. Hope not that sore.

Caught cold...

Right, the first time of being sick in France is coming. I think it is a small temperture and took some medicine yesterday. Finally, I got up 1:30am this morning cuz I really felt that I was swimming on the bed... after losing plenty of water, my throat was like in fire... so damn painful...

I am still trying to figure out how the hell did I catch this. Maybe the weather is too hot here comparing with Newcastle or like Martin said that it is from stress.

Well, wish me OK tomorrow.

Never done this before

Presentation in front of around 100 people. I don't believe I did it... Before I arrived to that building, I thought there are only 20 audience. Then I was shocked after I stepped into that so damn big room...it is a hall.

Hundred of people are sitting there and there is a big screen in front of them like the one in small cinema. My talk was at 17:00pm and I got 15 minutes to present and 5 minutes for questions. I tried all the ways to detract my attention. I spoke to my supervisor, took deep breath, played around with my cellphone...

"Ha ha, ok, just image that your parents are here and you're gonna impress them.", Martin said.

Well, I mean it really works to be honest, but only for a while.... -_ -!

Then my show is coming... I got my tongue quite woolly in the first couple of minutes but after that I got used to that circumstance and became fairly relaxed to talk. After the talk, there are some guys giving me their name cards and showing interest in my work. It feels good cuz at least my work is not rubbish. ^ ^

Anyway, that would be a very good experience in my life.
